i never said grey jacket is bad... its awesome... but if we knew we were going with a grey one... we cld have gone with a grey / steel grey vest... that in all honestly wld look much better with a grey jacket. Dont see the jacket stand alone... try and see it with the vest...
anyways.. just thought i will clear the issue that its not the jacket i was against,its the pairing...

fair enough... whatever everyone wants ... but black wld seems far far better. i think if she had a similar stitching for the black one and they were pegged right next to each other.... may be people wld think on my lines. but i don wanna be a road block... whatever works for most... but in real life red vest with grey coat wld look very weird especially when doc was so stylish...grey unless worn on happy miss match day, almost always goes with a complementary vest and not contrasting... anyways... i will let go...

Well he dressed pretty colorful throughout the film and that's what the film makers were going for. If you ever watch the behind the scenes on the blu ray they talk a good bit about how most western films use a lot of muted colors based on the photos from the time being in black and white. But if you look at the actual clothing from the time period they were actually pretty flashy dressers which is what they were going for in the film.

I'm excited either way you decide to go with the coat/frock. My one flaw is how the snap sticks out at the top of the vest... Is that possible to fix?

It might help if someone took one of the proto pics and photoshopped the Rainman head onto it. I was actually getting my image to appear roughly 1/6 scale on the screen and holding my Aeon painted head in front of it so I could better visualize the figure :lol

Awesome. Thanks. If that doesn't persuade folks then I don't know what would. Gonna be a bad-ass figure.

On another note, I noticed the other day that Aeon glued the hat on my Doc sculpt. . .backwards. Some paint peeled off in the process of removing it that I'll have to fix. My Plainview sculpt came with the hat unglued. Weird.

Figure is going to look excellent with this outfit. I'm still trying to rustle the money together but I don't think I will be able too. I still can't wait to see how this turns out. It really is going to look awesome.

I too have the Rainman figure and I am not sure what I will do with it. Not a big fan of having 2 of the same character unless it is a character I super duper love.
