I just got this outfit with a ttm18 body. The body appears to just sit on top of the boots, but it doesn't "click" into the boots. I'm afraid to push it more without breaking it. Is this normal or is there a body that fits the boots better and actually clicks into the boots so its just not sitting on top?

You’ll need to shave the standard HT pegs down a notch or two to fit.

The boots were ever so slightly too small to ‘click’ in.
