1/4 NECA Devito Penguin closed umbrella interchangeable tips *FOR SALE as of 10/25*

Hey, guys, I am moving on to my next project; a semi-closed umbrella for the NECA 1/4 scale Danny Devito Penguin figure. It will work for the previous figure and the new "Mayor Penguin" to be released soon. I have a working prototype done with pictures below. The umbrella will be real cloth with 3 interchangeable tips; a regular tip, a gun tip, and a knife/ice. pick tip, all as seen in the film Batman Returns. I am also considering a flame effect tip but haven't worked that out yet.

Im in for a couple depending on price. If your able to produce like the pictures below that would be great. I don't ever recall him having his umbrella with the tie piece snapped together so it's ultra tight.

Well I have the fist couple on the list but hoping for a bit more interest to get this rolling. I am still in the middle of finishing up my previous project but this is next in line.

Still tinkering with the idea of real cloth umbrella versus sculpted. I have some ideas of ways to 3D model and print the parts necessary (like the handle, umbrella tips, etc.) while still being able to utilize real cloth for the umbrella. The idea is this will NOT be a WORKING umbrella, rather an always closed but real cloth version of the one I have posted above.

Yep, the aim is to get it looking like the one in the images you posted... closed but with the "loose" appearance, with interchangeable tips. I have an idea of having an inner support modeled that I can attach the umbrella arms to along with real cloth. It should look really nice compared to modeling the whole thing while still remaining relatively inexpensive.

It's going to look a little weird, just to give a heads up. What I have done is modeled an accurate umbrella tip and handle, and then I modeled an inner support system that I can attach the umbrella arms and fabric to so it will maintain a uniform, semi-closed appearance. Hard to explain but I think it will look great!

A couple of the 3D renders. So at the bottom is the curved handle, of course. Above that is the support system that will hold the umbrella arms and the cloth. Above that are the multiple pieces necessary to attached the cloth and the first interchangeable tip. I will now model a couple of interchangeable tips and I'm done. WHICH TIPS? I was thinking a plain umbrella tip (which is what the original model is), a blade or some sort of "pokey" thing, and a gun tip. Thoughts?

normal,blade,and gun tip. he uses an flame tip as well but thats just one scene... It looks great so far. Heres a coupel pics of the gun and flame tip
