Although my focus has been on a large project (3D printed figure) i have still been working to make the Raph Trench coat happen. The hat will likely be sculpted by me but because each turtle has a unique head shape I'll probably have to wait Til I have Raph in hand to finalize that. I may start and use Donny for proportions though.
I've spoken with a few people about tailoring the trench coat and finally found someone who I think will be able to deliver and I THINK will offer a fair price (still negotiating that pending final prototype). To keep you all in the loop.. here is the fabric color likely to be used and the template I provided which was compiled from screenshots of the movie I took as well as watching the scenes over and over again. The coat will not have a lining and will likely have clasps to close it rather than functional buttons. Also, the pockets will be for show only and not functional. Any "worn look" I'll let anyone who orders do themselves.
So I'm having a prototype made with a similar fabric so we can make any adjustments that'll be needed and so we can see the overall look. Once we know that we are all happy with it, an order will need to be made for fabric. At that point I'll need half down, second half plus shipping once it's complete. I'll have all the jackets shipped to me and then I'll ship them out to everyone individually. The half down will be nonnegotiable and I can't front the money in order for anyone or wait. It is and has to be first come first served and then a waitlost will happen should anyone back out.
