OK guys,
quick update,
I met with Beto and Lu yesterday.
We're looking into a few adjustments for the jacket, I'll post pics later today or tomorrow so you can see how it looks.
This is the test jacket, so it's still not final. But let me tell you, it look amazing!
Once the minor adjustments are done, we can get the ball rolling.

Also, upon talking to Beto and looking at a bunch of reference pictures, I asked him to sculpt this with a similar expression as my custom, since I think it's the best look for the Werecat.

We'll have another "meeting" tonight to discuss this further and I'll keep you guys posted.
I am really excited about this project!!

About time for an update right?!!

So, last month Beto and Lupita were in town, and besides having a great time we discussed a few details about the project.

First things first, the pics (note: this is still my custom head/hands NOT final sculpt yet):

Now, here are a few things we discussed:

- Jacket will be 1 or 2 sizes larger to accommodate the plaid shirt and lower the waist as well.
- Material for the sleeves will be "leatheresque" in order to look accurate and allow flexibility.
- We're still discussing details about the snaps, because once the head/hair is on, it's hard to close the jacket, and we don't want them exposed, so most likely the snaps will go only half way through from bottom to top.
- Lupita will be working on a new "test" before the official prototype.
- Beto will start sculpting this shortly.
- We discussed about the approach on the head for the hair. One option is doing it like his Beetlejuice (https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106462) so all the hair will be added. Another option is to have sculpted hair and cover it with fur/hair like my custom.

Thanks Kuzeh! I'm trying my best to keep an eye on this one just in case! I also thought your figure was a definite win at the Expo and still can't get over it as it really is a figure with a lot of impact on display. And if you're at all a MJ or Thriller fan, then this is a definite must have! So yeah, if anyone does drop out or if the list expands to maybe a couple more, please please please DO add me! :exactly:

OK guys,
time for an update!!
Most of you know that Beto and Lu are busy bees, but finally here's some info.

They are currently hard at work on their Beetlejuice and Jason projects. But the great news is that MJ is next on their list. They are trying to get started on this by the end of September, but as usual, no set dates.
The idea is that once I have the sculpts from Beto, while I'm painting and adding hair, Lupita can work on the jackets.

Anyway, just to let you know the latest news.
I'm really excited about getting to work on this projects.
Hopefully it'll be the beginning of future cool stuff!! :rock!

This is AWESOME!!!!....just an FYI....in my case...you could just send me the hair and head sculpt/paws without having to paint them...i can take care of that....let me know if you can do that....thanks m8!!!....

Was just checking on this recently after just receiving my Beto Freddy 2 custom figure! I'm already itching for my next Beto fix and this is one figure I hope I can still have a chance at. Please put me on that waiting list!
