Ok guys!! Good news, Beto was finally able to ship the heads to me, so they'll be here shortly!
Also, I'm finally doing some tests on the hair.

OK Guys!!
Finally some great news!
I got the sculpts!!
Tomorrow I'll start painting the heads and refining the hair test before applying it on the good sculpts!
I want to make sure I have the technique down for this particular hairstyle, which by the early tests I noticed it a bit tricky, but fear not, it'll look great!!

Fortunately I'll be able to post updates more often now!
So check the thread or subscribe!

Also, I was talking to Lupita today and she's going to be re-working the jacket soon.

So, apologies guys for the delays, but we're finally moving forward on this!

Thats great...i had meant to ask you this a while ago but is it ok to hair your own as well as paint it?...because i voiced wanting to do this with my own...i will still pay the regular price but i wanted to know if I could take a shot at painting it and hairing....please let me know...thanks a million for making this project happen!!!!...

OK Guys,
to avoid any confusions, I deleted the last pics, I don't want you to see any subpar previews.
I'll show some progress, but only when it looks great!
The excitement got the best out of me and I posted pics that aren't at the level of quality you deserve.
Some real good ones coming soon!
I am working on this right now and discussing techniques with Beto to make sure this is a kick-ass figure!

OK Guys,
I'm finally able to post some progress pics.
The hair as you can imagine is a bit tricky, due to the shape and volume, but I've been discussing techniques with Beto, and ended up using the same technique they used for Fluffy, Myers and Beetlejuice.
So I am currently refining the "wig" so that not only it fits the head nice and clean, but also allows for some shape and volume to take place.
Here are some pics of the first official tests on that.
I should have the final "wig" this week and then it's adding detail, brushing, combing and even adding some hairspray to make it look kickass!
Once I have de definitive one, I'll start making all of them. Next week I'll start painting the heads, so please keep an eye on this thread!

OK Guys!
Some updates!
I've had an awful cold the past couple of weeks, so working on the hair made me cough a lot,
so I decided in the meantime to tackle the painting on the heads.
First I had to sand and adjust the ears on all of them, then start painting based on Beto's master.
They are about 70% finished, still need to add the eyes, a bit of detail coating and of course the mouths.
But wanted to show you the progress so far.

I'm making a second hair appliance next week, to select the final one for all of them!

By the way, Beto will start working on the hands really soon. And please be aware that I will request money in the next few weeks to finish up the project, and also because Lupita needs the cash to finish the jackets!

Looks awesome so far! Really excited to see the final product! I know I'm paid up about half way as I think most of us on the list are if not already paid in full. I was wondering about how much will you need for the next installment or will it be for the full final amount? I just need to see what my budget looks like in the next few weeks.

OK Guys,
I'm working on the hair this week and the next one, I am talking to Lupita this week as well to discuss timelines as well as with Beto regarding the hands.
I should have final pics of the proto by the end of next week. I've been caught up with some work, but next week is clear for me to work on this full steam ahead!

I'll let you know about shipping when I'm finished with the figure and it's boxed and ready to go!

So in the meantime, if the people who've paid deposits, can make a second payment or pay in full it would be awesome so Lupita can finish the jackets for us!

Happy 4th everyone!!
Time for some news, good and bad...

-First the bad ones,
2 weeks ago my landlord told us she's selling the apartment we rent... so this has me plenty busy looking for a new place, moving and all that... so please bear with me...

Now the Good news!!
- Beto is coming over to San Diego ComicCon and he'll be personally helping me finish these guys up!! So this is great news for everyone!! :rock!!
- Lupita is actively working on the jackets and Beto will bring them over with him.
- Beto is also finishing up the hands and will bring them later this month as well.

I updated the list, so check your spot on it, and please, everyone who has already paid deposit, there's 2 spots left for the first batch, whomever pays the balance first will move up in the list.
Also, there's an additional spot left for the 12th figure in production, so if you, or anyone you know wants one, now is the chance!!
