Re: Angry Frank Headsculpt

I'm so happy this is coming out. I've been looking for a great Punisher head, and if Tony gets involved. :yess:

I have the one Hanouman did before he had forsaken us. Painted by Elvis, too!

I'm really looking forward to this one.

That one was good but a little to stylized for me. This one captures the Frank Castle I want.

I'm a big fan of the stylized style. I would even love one like this...

Re: Angry Frank Headsculpt

I've been talking to Tony and his suggestion was to paint the skull on. I'm comfortable with that, but having not ever worked with the tight suits before, would you paint it before you put it on or get it on and try to stencil it on that way it doesn't distort when you stretch it?

Re: Angry Frank Headsculpt

I'm gonna try a spandex version. I'll probably get a second head and try this version as well.

I have made one a while back using a stencils and white fabric paint.

I probably made like 20 layers of paint to get it really white.

And do it while the shirt is on the figure otherwise the paint will crack.

Re: Angry Frank Headsculpt

I've had good luck using Createx airbrush paint on black shirts. Their white is designed to shoot on black shirts. It still takes a few layers but I think it would be less then 20.

Also check this out bleaching the area before painting.

The bleaching process is interesting although not sure what it will look like on such a tiny t-shirt :)

Plus he is using a spandex t-shirt.

Createx paint sounds like a good idea.
