Re: ORDER NOW! JNIX(pics up) + IRIS+ DOGGIEDOC Forrest Gump.
Ohhhhhhhhh bench! Definitely worth investigating
Should be pretty easy to get something modeled. I am thinking resin cast "concrete" supports and real wood slats.
I am working on 3D modeling as many of the suitcase accessories possible so I can get a few prints done soon. I am trying to finishing up the suitcase hardware... I looked forever to try and source real locking mechanisms at 1:6 scale but couldn't really find anything, so I am at this time modeling static mechanisms that will look the part but just not actually open and close (The suitcase will open, of course, just not the mechanisms).
I have also modeled the toothpaste tube and found the accurate, 1982 style Crest labeling for it. Next I will model a ping pong paddle and toothbrush as seen in the suitcase. Ultimately I would like to make the paddle out of real wood but I will start with a 3D print just to get something for size and to see how it all fits within the suitcase. Finally I will get a couple models of the buttons, though those are much more about the decal on them than the shape, which is obviously very simple and round.
I have also found the proper size of the Curious George book and the magazine with Forrest and Lieutenant Dan in it, and I will be working with Hunter to get everything printed at scale. I plan on, if possible, scanning all the pages and printing the Curious George book IN ITS ENTIRETY at scale, though the Magazine will be just a front and back cover with blank pages inside.
Anyway, just laying out my plans... adding the bench would just make it EPIC.
