Those Football Cards looks to be correct on what Butkus is wearing.
Except they left the Numbers off the Shoulders on his Jersey.
The Bottom of the Jersey looks to be cut off right under the Number.

Fabric shirt It's the way to go. Sculpted shirt was never an option .

With more help from Darkandrew and Jra81984, I found out that Butkus was actually named after D!ck Butkus, a football pro, which sported the number "51" when he was playing. He never played with the Eagles, but since the dog was named after him I think it's definitely a "51" on the back .

So it's "Eagles 51" .

Also thanks Ishothimsixtimes for the initial information.

And thewhatwhatnow is correct, the shirt was cut off to fit Butkus.
