Its really a mess. If you dont check this board seriously, you miss some very fine projects. I saw this thread once some time back, forgot about it and now its done. :slap

Sorry to hear you missed it. I can't speak for anyone else, but I tried to mention the sculpt in other relevant threads and also posted pictures a while back while casts were still available. A lot of people are slow to react when only a digital sculpt is shown, but once painted samples start showing up, new buyers tend to come around.

Appreciated. :duff

I guess its the typical "You snooze, you lose.".

This hobby is a doesnt accept excuses sometimes. If you are not focused for a few months, you miss some good stuff. My wife brought life to our first born in June. Over the last year I was less active here and enjoyed most of my freetime with my wife and my daughter. This Solo sculpt is a really, really nice piece. But honestly, if had to choose, I would rather miss this fantastic sculpt than just one single moment I have spent with my family during the last year. It was a very special time - properbly the best of my life (for now). So everything is fine. :)

Nevertheless, I will try to either get it on the aftermarket or hope for a second run. :)

Got mine today, has a big gash in the forehead :(

Inigou never fails to impress. This is probably the best Han likeness to date. I'd considered getting it but I've already got several $80-$100 heads that have been sitting around unpainted. However I think I might have finally found a painter that can do the kind of paint and hairwork I've been looking for. I'll know in a few weeks. If so,hopefully there will be another Han. Otherwise there's always something new popping up. Maybe Inigou will do a Farmboy Luke or smiling Lando.

Something about the whole casting looks wrong. It almost seems from the picture that the whole bridge of the nose was filled in. I don't know, just doesn't seem quality. Mine should arrive any day now as I was in the first batch. Hopefully no issues.

Got my Solo sculpt today. Mine is cast in grey resin. I may have an issue with mine, but not as bad as Hunter's. I noticed a shiny line on the forehead and that drew my attention to what seems to be a nick in the left eyebrow. Not sure if someone tried to fill it with some super glue and that's what's shiny. I wonder if there was a problem casting these and if more people are going to have issues.

I am glad you got your sculpt. They were all casted gray, and none of them were bad handled. if it has some minor marks on the sculpt, once primered those minor marks disappear. I don't have extra cast, all were sold and sent to each owner.

you can buy primer paint and spray it. I know that helps,.

Finally received my package (4 pieces) but believes one of them suffered the same casting issue whereas one seems with a minor problem that needs further verification :monkey2

How the hell did they let one like this get through?
