Re: [OUTFIT FEEDBACK NEEDED] Mathilda H+C+A • sdabbs • robbiethepainter • yunsil

I wanted to add that I also found what I think may be a perfect body for Mathilda. Unless, someone has already mentioned this how about considering using the seemless Threezero body for Daenerys Targaryen's body. It is only 10. Inches. It is for a teenage girl after all. Just a thought.

The neck area would work well, but I think it may be a little too tall and the breasts would be too large for sure. Also, I have no idea how the legs are structured, they look to have sculpted boots all the way upto at least her knees. I do appreciate the thought and suggestion though, we'll take a look at it closer when released perhaps. :)

Spoiler Spoiler:

Friend, as for the body there is no possibility of Sean Dabbs producing one?
I say this because I remember the Rainman did to Regan, and it was very good...
Particularly I do not expect to make many poses with Mathilda, I would like to do her holding the pot with the plant and maybe also the package with the market purchases, If you can only move your arms, it would be excellent, besides, the legs would be perfect without apparent joints...
A constructive suggestion, maybe there is this possibility, right?

Thank you for your thoughts, it's appreciated! :)

We have plans to create a custom torso for the Star Ace Hermione body (it should also work with any of the teen sized Star Ace bodies as well), that will have a seamless neck. There will be more details on this soon, stay tuned.

When I started this project, one of my main goals was to create a figure that is the best it can be, but also having it be relatively affordable as well. I did look into creating full custom bodies in the beginning but it would've been very expensive, which would've been a very hard sell to most people, including myself honestly.

Custom milk glasses are being finished now, by the amazing DoggieDoc, and Sean is working on the hand to hold it perfectly.

I'm including one of these as a bonus for everyone that is all in on this project, sculpt, clothing, and accessories. :)

Spoiler Spoiler:

Be sure to support DoggieDocDesigns, he has several projects going on in the interest thread as well as a shapeways storefront with a bunch of awesome stuff! Give his FB page a like as well if you get the chance. He really went above and beyond on this and I couldn't be happier with the results!

Thank you Bruisermoore for bringing such talented people on board. We couldn't be luckier than to have artist with such talent and craftsmanship. I can't wait to get this glass. It's like the icing on the cake. And to DoggieDoc. Way to go! Will support such a keen eye and talent. Congratulations!!!

I can't wait for DoggieDoc's Baby Groot detonator.

Yes!!!! @ that milk!

My thoughts exactly! I was going to keep it a total surprise, but I just couldn't, it was just too good not to show. :)

There are so many talented people on these boards, and they're great people that love the hobby as well. I wouldn't have been able to get this thing going if they weren't, it's made this process so much easier for me.

That baby Groot detonator does look incredible!

Kumik made Mathilda, maybe you can use this body, seems good enough

Thanks for the suggestion but we already looked at that body a few months back and the proportions are all wrong. With that said, this project is for head, clothing and accessories, so in the end, everyone can go with whatever body they desire, some may like the anime-like proportions of the Pure Nemo bodies while others like myself will want a more realistic teen body like the Star Ace Hermione body. :)

I might just be in for a head sculpt and a few accessories still, but when will they be done? What approx. date? Or is everything being left until Yunsil complete the outfit?

Also, is there going to be a second run of painted or is that it?

It's all up to the artists and their schedules, so I can't give an exact date, all I can tell you for sure is that everything is being worked on by all involved to the best of their abilities. I don't want anything to be rushed with this project, that's for sure.

Sean is refining the sculpts and creating the milk glass holding hand, and will be doing the casts soon. The wig sample is being created at the factory in China right now. Yunsil is currently working on the sample outfit. I'm also working with others for more accessories, etc., etc.

The painting option is up to Mark, he has agreed to do ten, if his schedule allows he will do more. I have Maximus Miniatures on board for any Mark can't do as well, so a painted option is definitely available.

Sorry, what is the price for painting? I couldn't see any reference. Just a rough idea will be fine.

I may still be in for the complete set, but I'd like to see the sample from Yunsil first, as it will then give me time to save.

Mark will determine an exact amount once he gets the casts, but going by other threads where he's offered his painting services, my guess is around $75 for the bald head and then around $20 for each hairpiece if you go that route. This is only my educated guess though.

If you go with the wig it will be in the $15-20 price range.

I hope this helps, and please, never hesitate to ask here or with a PM, anything you may have questions about. :)
