I'm still looking forward to it as well. I got my first painted Akeem head from Nathan Eakins and am awaiting the second one. When it gets here it will need that McDowell's uniform!

Sorry, I got busy again the past few months. I really need to get my 1:6 projects done, because I’m starting to think about having another child.
Well it would be a shame for all that beautiful detailed work you did on the mops to go to waste. What do you think it would take timeframe wise to finish up the McDowell's set? The income from the sets would buy a few diapers!
I’ll get this done. I’m 100% committed to doing Semmi too. Having a baby doesn’t work on schedule usually, especially at my age. I did a lot of sewing actually when my first was on the way.

Whaat?! I sold my personal Akeem figure to a friend Just because i knew that Mcdowell's outfit was on works and have a spot for painting another smiling Sculpt !!!? Please star puff ,give us some update .
I have every intention of completing this figure. My own figure is not complete, starting with an unpainted head.
I understand people get frustrated waiting, but please recall that unlike most every other project on this board, I haven't taken anyone's money.
I'm not a natural artist, so it takes me much longer to learn new skills and to get things right, especially something like ZBrush.

Yes. I know I have been slow, but I will finish this outfit and I will 100% commission Semmi.
One hang up is that ZBrush is very hard to master in terms of getting details like stitching to show up on a 3D print.
