I've just placed an order for one with him so yes he is still making them. Paying $1500 for one on eBay is just insane!!! Someone started a rumor that Steven made less then 10 making Dark Helmet insanely rare. That is not the case however his work is amazing and sought after. I cannot wait to get mine.

Same here, glad he's still making them! Ready to get mine too. For the longest time I had no idea he made them on demand. And you hardly ever see them in the secondary market
