I've just placed an order for one with him so yes he is still making them. Paying $1500 for one on eBay is just insane!!! Someone started a rumor that Steven made less then 10 making Dark Helmet insanely rare. That is not the case however his work is amazing and sought after. I cannot wait to get mine.

You sure it wasn't MG's Version? I believe he made only about 10 on his run and the times it sold it was in the thousand dollar range.

No it was definitely for Spensers DH. I saw the listing the other day. Its actually sold now lol! Not sure for how much but it says best offer was accepted.
