So... as a matter of fact... been experimenting with this... Boils down to this: there's really no way to make a functioning stand-alone cap. I have to sculpt a hat "base" that snaps with a head (with missing scalp). Together it'll look awesome, I hope, but there's no way to make a hat that can fit on the HT sculpt or any sculpt with hair. So, given that I'll make a head/hat combo, the question is: neck or no neck. I'm guessing you guys will want it to fit on a HT Marty body...?

Also, I purchased not only the lenticular material seen above, but also a Diamond Select reproduction, which I think is just a tad thinner and more pliable than the original material I bought... I'll cut the DS cap apart and futz with it in the next couple of days...

Finally, I guess I might as well sculpt up a pair of the Nike Mags too so I don't leave ya'll hanging...

please definitely do the head with the ht combo...that way...we can get everything in one place....also...I have one of the original Heads...if you want and with the artists permission....maybe I could send you mine and you can modify a cast of it but again....only if we get permission...let me know...thanks

You guys crack me up! Are y'all psychic or something? Was just finishing them up today, and now they're done, ready for shipping!
But... I wanted to ask if you guys wanted me to combine with a couple of other things I'm working on:

- a DChung custom Marty head / lenticular cap combo with a HT neck base sculpted on. Will attach to the HT Marty body, but will not have articulation under the jaw (for added realism)
- a DChung custom pair of Nike Air Mags. (This will not be a recast of the IDM customs pair, which had 3D printer resolution scan lines on the surface.)

No need to decide yet, I'll be posting pics of the head/hat and shoes in the days to come...

Id love the lenticular cap option but would want that jacket sent to me asap......I can always pay for the shipping later on for the lenticular cap and headsculpyt....thanks again Dchung!!!!...

I'm shipping the two pocket liners with the jacket as a gift. Just a reminder to turn them inside out, when you receive them. With the liners sticking out of the top of the jeans pockets, you should not be able to see the seam allowances. (Marty wears the pockets inside out, while Marty Jr. actually wears the whole pair of jeans inside out.)
