Nah... just put the scuply on and started shaping

the horns will be a separate piece, i've got 3 sets at the moment LOL! :monkey1

Shield update fresh outta da oven

going to refine some of the helmet details now, need to get it cast before I wreck it

can't wait to see these as one piece in resin

Thankyou.....thought I prime these to see how they go, a few bumps here & there but nothing a battle scarred veteran shouldn't have
this is the helm and shield I'm going to cast. The belt might be redone

the left helmet horn looks perfect

to try for symmetry why dont you just cast two of the same and turn it upside down?.........or is there an angle that would put the right side pointed upwards? just a thought

Hehe the one on the right has just shifted a little, they are both held in with a little sculpy, don't want to touch cause of the wet paint, the piece on the left is the beginning of the left leg armour

hey again another update, new belt made tidier & larger than the last version also the left leg armour. With this I was wondering if anyone would like to commit via a $10 deposit. This will allow me to speed up the process & buy the silicone on Monday so casting of the complete sections can begin -helmet & shield. thanks guys.....you can PM me for my Paypal or any questions....

i'm committing to $80per raw kit + $15 postage & $50 if you require it painting on top
the kit will contain....
1 x helmet + horns & spike
1 x shield
1 x belt plate
2 x shoulder pauldron
2 x greave
2 x vambrace (yet to be made)
2 x armoured feet (yet to be made)

1x sword hilt in scabbard (solid no blade)

does anybody have any ideas for the body armour as I'm searching with not much luck apart from sideshows which I don't think suits the character

Ok thee shield, helm & belt plate are being molded today, everything else I'm still working on, the greaves have been reduced in size & i'm working on Ideas for the chest armour it will probably be light form made of discs or plates tied together, really helps keep the barbarian form. also had some thoughts for the rest of the figure & I'm going to go for a Winter style lots of fur, black bear skin cape shaggy boots, should really contrast the armour

1st cast & a very quick paint up of the helm, 1st cast was a bit unclean due to residue from the mold & air bubbles and the like so thought I paint up & have a look. The one for my self I'm thinking of casting hollow and fit it over the head shown

Another option, rotocast & remove the mouth plate perfectly fits the KP screaming head. I think this is the option I going with, demon eyes human mouth

i guess you can kind of wing the body armor somewhat as the painting doesn't show hardly any of it. but you could review other pics & come up with something midevil or barbarianish that would go with the rest we do see. you are doing awesome so far so whatever you come up with should be fine. and the fur/hair idea was exactly what i was going to do with mine as well so some of it is going to be covered anyway.

You received the KP body yet? I think its working great! can pull some nice chest puffery poses
