the chain is from an ignite Viking, bought it loose on ebay, been looking for a long sleeve set & leggings no luck so far

the chain is from an ignite Viking, bought it loose on ebay, been looking for a long sleeve set & leggings no luck so far

I noticed some images have him w/o anything on his arms or legs; yet other he's completely covered. I almost think what you have is pretty cool looking and you still can see the detail of the sculpted arms.

damn dude..................we really have to find a horse in 1/6th scale that we could mod to hell.(pun intended)..........:lol

I'm Kinda torn between the armoured look & the Barbarian look, trying to get the right balance

Ok guys not far to go on this "test" today I did the quick paint of the new armour including feet & greaves. All all coming together pretty well but i will have to redo a few pieces, feet (oversized, messy- look all right a foot away) and looking at options for the sword) Hes starting to look mean
list to do

Axe
Back armour
Vambraces
Knee armour to cover those ugly knee joints
Feet armour (redo)

hope you like the pose (it's a pain at the moment as he's held together with putty so falls to pieces just looking at it). but my next cast will have metal rings set in the armour for the leather straps, a proper neck joint and will figure out the back of the shield.
Hope you all like!

Looking forward to seeing this guy finished (they are rather tiring to do) fur cloak, Axe, blood, rocky snow covered base

It is getting closer barryo, now to work out the best way to attach the armour, still redo a couple of things (he could walk on water with the feet). Unfortunately it'll slow down from here (back to work :cuckoo: after a couple of weeks holidays)

Those horses look amazing by the way
