Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney CLOSED

Yes he answered it:

You wet the jacket completely and paint in very diluted washes of brown acrylic paint, it's wet so it spreads evenly.

Remember that things are darker when they are wet so you might need to go at it again.

Thats what she said ;)

Childish I know but i couldn't resist.....

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney CLOSED

It won't halt all production, just the soldering of the big parts. Everything else can still be going on. Just sucks. Good thing is that the new transformer is $44. Instead of $200 for a new machine. Just hope that fixes it.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney CLOSED

Man, the weathering on the straight jacket along with this gurney will turn Lecter from a common figure to an absolute Grail! Really glad that I was able to get on this project.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney CLOSED

Quick update.

I got my soldering iron back up and running.
I have to play some catch up at work, but I hope to get back to this real soon.

Sorry for the delay.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney CLOSED

Shoot me a PM if you ever decide to get rid of that John Matrix from Seb... :rotfl

If you knew how much it was cost to prise that out of my collection you'd cry :rotfl and thats not taking into account the fact I'd need to declare it at full value for customs purposes ;)
