i wasn't initially blown away, but it has grown on me a lot more over the last few days and seeing the foundation i've just paid for my painted sculpt :yess:

I was wondering the same thing Gido, does anyone know? in the first couple pics on this thread, esp a picture from behind .. the head did not fit flush on the neck and looked awful… so what body does this fit, where the head is flush on the neck and doesn't stick out….

I feel the same way. Marf has gone above and beyond showing a variety of photos, but the head looks strange in all of them. And for better or worse, the McClane head ended up looking exactly like what was shown in the initial photos. These manipulations, while making the head much better, are simply that, manipulations. Taking away the shadows that are there, doesn't really help anything. The shadows will be there on display. I have the same display setup as Marf, so I'm going to expect that the head will look the same as that, in my display.

That's the hat I sculpted onto my Sideshow version and may have to switch over to this one. Have to have the Cairo bash for a proper Raiders Indy.

Can you post a picture of your hat? I really need to start thinking about building the proper 'lion tamer's' hat.

I suppose I'd pick up the unpainted sculpt and have someone re-mod the nose. Its just the nose that is off.

I think in hand this will be perfect just like his die hard sculpt.

I don't know man - while in hand vs pics makes a difference - when something is off it always is off, even the die hard sculpt while the sculpt was perfect the size issue was always there and no matter how people spin and take those pics it's still there. I am in a dilemma now should I even be buying the yunsil outfit cause this sculpt was for that set. If that outfit was not being made I could so easily move on from buying this one!

Quite upsetting ... So much efforts gone into this from the artist side as well!

You won't get anything perfect but this sculpt is awesome...you don't want to miss out on it if your an Indy fan.

Unpainted looks fine Leon, and there have been several photoshop paint tweaks done by members that improve the likeness. I think it's worth it.

Worse case scenario, if I get it and don't like it, I'm sure I could resell it after I paint it to make back the cost.
