Some sculpts look better with a neck uniformity this seems ot be one of them! I will say thow unpainted that looks really good Marf! Not sure if u are offering unpainted i would take one!

Just read front page lol I will most likey put in order tomorrow for unpainted!

Unpainted sculpts are being offered, guys, so if you want to experiment with a different painter then the option is there. :) Paint does tricky things to a sculpt.

Is it possible to see an unpainted cast please Dane?

Looks like a little warping has occurred to me. Surely the difference between the neckless cast you pictured and the new sample cannot be down to paint? Surely?!

Marf i reckon it's just like i said earlier.

I think it's just painted too dark on the sides of the bridge of the nose, it just needs lightening in that area, and i reckon all would be good. The unpainted one is perfection.

I agree with this. I think the sculpt is pretty spot-on. I'm not a painter but a very minor repaint on certain parts might help. I'm not sure if it looks a bit off because of darkness on the sides of nose but if somebody can pinpoint a spot and repaint it then I think this sculpt will be good.

I'm being sent pics of an unpainted cast soon, and I will of course post them here ASAP.

I think it's a fantastic sculpt! There are a few issues, but I think it's MILES better than anything else readily available out there.

Also, for posterity, I just wanted share these pics of the final sculpt before the neck was removed and casting began. So you guys are aware of the foundation.

This is amazing. Astoundingly good.
I fear it warped in the cast process? In your early detolf pics Dane, it felt to me like lens distortion on the nose and shape of the head, if it really is like that I think it is physical warping rather than digital distortion.

Those sculpt pics are some of the best 1/6 sculpts I've ever seen.

Would it be possible to get some photos on the unpainted sculpt after the casting process?

The pictures in that gif are at different angles, the 2 pictures at the top of this page may make a better comparison gif.

Use the other front pic for this, the angle is closer between the two. These are too different...the painted is looking down more in you gif.

Is it possible to make a new mold and get a better cast . I may wear glasses but I can see that the nose is a tad crooked. I have already paid for mine.

Send a copy of the fkin sculpt to Rahmier or Nathan and call it day till there done! I think the placement of they eyes is also throwing it off!
