Thanks man... it's a fun figure to paint as you can make such a dramatic improvement.

And it's really fun, Sideshow did such a great job on virtually every other aspect of the figure, yet completely jacked up the sculpt. A sculpt which would have been a home run if they'd just painted it like the GI-Joe figures from a couple of years ago :huh

I've got about 10 heads I'm just about done with... and the first one completely done is this great Bond sculpt by BBKill. Chu is quickly becoming one of my favorite ar****ts; not only are the likenesses incredible, but the sculpts are a joy to paint.

Finished up this great Denton Van Zan from Reign of Fire. I believe it's a modified version of Trevor's "Taxman" sculpt.

It's a really nice one... hopefully you can get one sent your way soon. I know whenever a new sculpt comes out (that I don't particularly want to own) I cross my fingers and hope someone asks me to paint it for them :lol

Case in point, I saw that Last of Us sculpt you painted... I don't want to own it, but would have loved the chance to put paint to it :lecture

I know the feeling, the LOU head is mine but I only bought it because I wanted to paint one :lol

Fingers crossed you get to paint one. You might even be able to get one still from KAI.

Killer, can't wait to see what you do with him. Trevor, BBKill and Inigo are some of my favorites to paint right now... excellent sculpting and casts. And they almost seem to paint themselves.

Thanks man, I'm still trying to get the hang of taking pictures with a light box. Overall the pictures look better, but Harry and Nada are pretty close in skin-tones, but the photos look very different :huh

I'm doing something wrong, but what's odd is I'm trying to replicate the same conditions each time, but invariably I get different results :huh I really just need you to come over and photograph all my stuff for me :lol

Painted up the Sideshow Gandalf for Darth Waller... I've had the figure for years, but decided to sell him and was happy Waller wanted him repainted before I sent him off. It's an incredible sculpt; easily one of the nicest Sideshow has done and it absolutely destroys the Asmus one :lol

NICE ! I use mine with the hat. . . Might change that.

Think anything can be done to the rest of the fellowship or are they beyond help?
