I bought the mags and hoverboard as well. I was really looking forward to this set, and built my 2015 Doc Brown to go with him. Oh well, I think I'll have a go at developing a 2015 jacket/outfit set for Marty for myself... I'll start a new thread in the interest section if anyone here wants to join...

Have any of you guys tried emailing him? I talked to John pretty recently about some unrelated paint work he's doing for me (Im not on this list) and he always gets back to me fairly quickly through his IDM email address. He was out of town for work when we spoke and sounded like he's been pretty swamped with his job lately.

i have also bought both the baord and mags......i also bought his lone ranger,i was told tonto will be made,,i would not have bought that if i known it wasnt........he also has interest lits all over the place, at least 5 that i am on,,,,, that just have been ignored.... i will never buy from him again....like the poster said on the other page, not a way to do business. i called this months ago....i seen all of these interest threads he was throwing up, for a 2 perosn team it would have been impossible to do more than 1 at a time,......also to ignore people that have spent money with you and supported you is not cool. yes i know he is a nice guy...that doesnt help with the situation.......a real shame, i like john, but to leave all high and dry after selling the board and mags is not right !!!

this is funny and ironic because this was the SAME thing i publicly asked him and he reassured me he could do it...granted...i still saw the "flow" of his process and decided against ordering from him from that point...glad i got my items but sad to think that he really will not full fill any of his other lists....
there has to be a better model for people to really gauge how much work can be done in a project before they offer it up to the masses...

I have been sending emails to John since he announced that the outfit was cancel, but no response. The last email I got from him was on Mar 3rd.
I'm trying to wrap up this project for all of us to move on to other projects I have. I'm also waiting for my mags and hoverboard for which I already pay the deposit but was waiting for John to finish the paint up for 2 of my Marty heads.

So we are in the same boat. I have paid my deposit to Barbossa for unpainted Mags and board + decals and somehow the deal never came through. However I habe to admit that I might have been not fast enough. I never felt any hurry for this project as the outfit wasnt ready yet. Anyway, as you are the "coordinator" here, how about I send you the remaining balance? Maybe it is more easy for IDM to handle just one guy? What do you think?

I know it feels better to work with a project that has the momentum, but this project sholdnt be forgotten either. So how can we assire that IDM is commong through to everyone who is on the list and didnt get his stuff yet?
