I can definitely attest to that. People don't realize how much time it takes to build a mold and do castings. And you can only do so many because the resin I use take about 16 hours to harden fully so you can technically only do one head a day per mold. And we buy silicone and resin at full price which can be a bit.

Quick update. Here's what I have on the hoverboard so far. I don't know what the pricing is going to be, but we'll figure it out when I get the file priced and sent to the printer and I'll have to see how much resin this thing is going to take. Now finding the little pink fur material for the foot strap might be tough!

Origami - can you update the pic to the link on the first page? I'll have the airmags done soon. Trying to estimate the size and shape for a HT foot joint and will wrap it up soon.

Looks good, but definatly revise the rounded "plates" at the bottom. They should be sticking out the farthest from the board, and the red parts shouldn't quite reach the top of the rounded black magnets.

Sorry, to be ****, but as someone who built a full size one using plans from RPF, little details like that drive me nuts.

Thanks ShadowX81! I'll defintely revise it per your comments. Working on these things you seldom get feedback from anyone and it certainly helps so thank you for pointing it out. I really do appreciate it and I want to make this the best and as accurate as possible.
