so this is the body i was thinking about using. I like the overall body the best but the arms are probably a bit too big for Snakes

The one thing i don't like about the TTM21 is the shoulder area. When they are wearing a tight suit like he will be, i think it looks very unnatural and bulky

The shoulders pop out over the traps on a very unnatural slope. Maybe if he was wearing an undershirt or something.. i don't really know

How were you planning on doing the body definitions John? like the pronounced shoulders and neck area? maybe it could be done on an undershirt and then the suit on top to create the more defined areas?

Thanks for the pictures Ryan! I remember it being much darker! I'll try to find like a darker olive drab. It looks like a pretty standard military raincoat/poncho so I'll see if I can find some good refs for it.

Frank - the sculpt on the body looks good, but that neck seems really thick for Snake. He's muscular but not that buff. Plus I think the cost on the body will be pretty high if we could find one.

TBH I think the wolvie body will not work. The shoulder are way too large and the arms too big.

The poncho would be such a nice touch, and would give the opportunity to switch up a display whenever you want.

This project will undoubtedly flatten any attempt Hot Toys decides to make with MGS, since they're utterly inept with the direction they started with that line.

Nah theres just one list. We weren't sure how many people would want the extra Pliskin head so i had to make it a sort of 'deluxe' option where it's an added extra onto the regular version if you wish to pay for it

If there wasn't enough interest in the extra Pliskin it wouldn't have been an option, fortunately most are in for it so looks like it's happening :yess:

Hard to say, it needs to be something that has a medium muscular build but has complete full range of motion.

Any chance this can go to 25 lol

I hope you get on it man, although for full figures 20 is pushing it. Maybe John will give one more allowance.

I can ask John

The reason for keeping it small was so it would be easier to find and buy items and John not have to make them himself from scratch

It would be far easier to acquire say 15 of the same gun or accessory than it would for 25. The higher the number the less likely it is we can get all the same pieces for everyone without making them all from scratch

Making it an even more expensive figure which everyone is keen to keep cost down!
