Re: IDM Customs - MGS2 Solid Snake Full Figure

No problem

I would imagine one or two will drop out when it's ready to go for whatever reasons

Re: IDM Customs - MGS2 Solid Snake Full Figure

I can ask John

The reason for keeping it small was so it would be easier to find and buy items and John not have to make them himself from scratch

It would be far easier to acquire say 15 of the same gun or accessory than it would for 25. The higher the number the less likely it is we can get all the same pieces for everyone without making them all from scratch

Making it an even more expensive figure which everyone is keen to keep cost down!

I agree :goodpost:

Hands up if you're as excited for this as I am?

Would love for the poncho to happen also.

Also a nice touch would be if the figure box was designed thus:

I don't think the box will be that hard. It's only cardboard with the design printed on

Oh I see. That would be cool but I thought the actual figure box designed like that would be rather apt.

He's sneaking into your collection through it. :)

Re: IDM Customs - MGS2 Solid Snake Full Figure

so this is the body i was thinking about using. I like the overall body the best but the arms are probably a bit too big for Snakes

Frank - the sculpt on the body looks good, but that neck seems really thick for Snake. He's muscular but not that buff. Plus I think the cost on the body will be pretty high if we could find one.

TBH I think the wolvie body will not work. The shoulder are way too large and the arms too big.
Yeah, TTM-19 is too bulky for Snake. Narrow Shoulder is a bit small. TTM-21 is a good compromise IMO. It will be a bit expensive, but those bodies are still hovering around retail. HT bodies always get pricey after awhile. You could go with another company, but if you want quality, then you want Hot Toys.

I was more talking about the new Wolverine body the one from the last stand. It has bigger arms with way too wide shoulder.

The ttm19 IMO would work great. Well that is the pne I used on my custom.

TTM19 looks nice, but if you give Snake an M4 you can't give him a good looking pose to hold it. TTM21 has the muscular ridges required to fill the suit and it's got those lovely double-jointed elbows.

What I don't like about the ttm21 is that when wearing thight suits thre is a big gap showing.

Maybe a thight undersuit could be made under the actual suit to hide that.
