To show there is enough interest to go ahead with the project, once its a go, the list doesn't matter, just be ready for the preorder period.

Because the project is already a go, its being worked on...

Once it hits the goal number to proceed, more sales is a bonus. So the list does not need to be updated as the goal number has been reached, which means it will start.
