Definitely better. I'll have to go watch the movie again before giving my personal thoughts in detail, but slimming the face down was much needed.

But my major concern right off the bat is his eyes. They're closed too much for that facial expression. Denzel only narrows his eyes more when he's expressing more emotion... which can be captured by increasing the depth of the creases by his nose. But your PS edit has already made it look more like Denzel for me!

Yes! Slimming down the face is a huge difference. Good stuff TM.

If anyone could do some side by sides with Thrust's manip and some screen shots, I think that would help Denny see clearly

I am looking at the difference between Fox and Washington and W has a pointer chin. His whole jawline is more of a V where F has a more square jawline. The tricky part is the goatee flattens it out.
W pivot point on his jawline is also higher up then F.

Tried to take your points and to change the PS a bit, and you were right i think. i've tried to pronounce the chin more to a V-form and opened his eyes also a bit up.

is it better now?

Hard to say Thrust.. I prefer ur 1st. Photoshop myself. But to me the crown of the head is slightly too block shaped. If that were adjusted (which Im guessing) would make the chin seem more V like as it already is. But the slimming is a huge help for his likeness.
