i've never seen this flic, which is odd as i'm such a Bale fan. guess i let it slip as everyone just told me it was a poor Matrix knockoff. but i'm guessing by the enthusiasm here that there must be more to it than that.

This is a good anti-utopical movie with terrific action and actors yet absolutely nothing to do with the Matrix.

It's absolutely worth it just for the gun katas. Sure the story has been told a few times but was still well done. Bale is Bale. Nice production design too, sterile with a Fritz Lang influence.

More folks need to vote on this. Keep hope alive!

Equilibrium was much better than The Matrix. It was better than all three.
