Help Support Custom One-Sixth Figures Forum:
If you read my first post you would see that I also asked for suggestions about making this something someone would be interested in having on their shelf. I wasn't whining about not getting enough attention. I have four kids, a grand kid, a wife and 2 dogs I get plenty of attention. I am trying to make a product someone wants to own so I asked for ways to make it better. But there are 4 threads on the first page of the customs section selling stuff and/or soliciting orders.
Apparently they are special and you are not. I thought when the board was restructured that the custom section was to show customs you were working on, sharing recipes for figures and such. The interest section was suppose to be for the sales that weren't suppose to be happening. I also vaguely remember that advertising/offering complete custom/bootleg figures was not premitted at all. Look at the threads and see who is posting in them and you will understand why your threads got mergered. Heaven forbid a Rainman or Iminime thread get bumped to age 2 because of your dual threads. Surely you can understand why that can't be allowed? Like everything else in life even hobbies become muddied up by politics and corruption of power. Don't let it get you down. There are other places you can get interest for your project.
Man, I have helped a lot of people on this board-advice, decals, figures they wanted that I wasn't sure I was ready to part with, I even went back to WalMart one time to get a second Ken clothing set for a member who needed the shoes but I guess the fawners and butt kissers do get their own water fountain on this board and the rest of us drink from the creek out back.

The Four pages of customs soliciting stuff do not have another corresponding thread for a listed solicit on the interest section. Try to be a little more patient with your own thread instead of going 'its a conspiracy' against others, itll have a better overall effect and these are just learning blocks.
When I started my first interest thread for Iminime it was in the Interest section. However once the project got off and everything was sold I asked the mods to shift that thread to the customs section as everything was over. Most threads you see in the main custom section dont have so called interest/for sale 'lists' on them... when your thread has any specific list for sale/interest I suppose thats the best reason to put it on the interest section. For other ready stuff or in development taking in suggestions without any specific interest list or sale list. Customs Section is the way to go.

I had a custom, one of a kind DarkArtist Rorschach head and outfit I was trying to sell, looking similar to this, and it took me a good long time to find a buyer. I think I sold it for $100, and it included the head, trench, scarf, gloves, pants, shirt, boots, and grapple gun. Just not a very popular character in this community, I don't guess. The movie styled Rorschach might work better, but Elvis's custom was so incredibly detailed, that you understand the interest and cost.
Name brand matters when it comes to customs, but in this case I think it is more the nature of the figure and the product. Like SwedishHeat says, business efforts are hit-and-miss.
