I've said it in many other Wizard of Oz threads, but I'll say it again here. We definitely need the Wicked Witch! She is really the most iconic character (in my opinion) besides Dorothy. Whereas the Witch would display nicely by herself, I just don't think that the Tinman, Scarecrow or Lion would look right unless all 3 of them were done. With that being said I wouldn't mind seeing your take on Dorothy especially if Yunsil does the outfit!

Also, I agree with Godfather. I had Iminime's Dorothy DX set and while it was spectacular, I would have loved for the pigtails sculpt to have had the smile instead of the other sculpt.

I would be in for Wicked Witch, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion -- basically in order of appearance after Dorothy. I also have a feeling getting the Lion suit and padding right will be tough, not to mention the hailing, so it will require longer development time. I have iminime's DX but agree on the body. I think one cool idea would be to release a new Dorothy head sculpt in both color and monotone, and maybe Denny could re-run the outfit both in color and B&W. The challenge would be finding a B&W body, but that's why this should be after the other characters are done.

Denny has agreed to re offer the outfits for Dorthy at $150 but Mike needs 15 minimum for the outfit.
As for the Sculpt the pig tail sculpt there needs to be a minimum of 30 people on board at $180 painted for that to happen.

I can't see us hitting the 30 mark but can possibly on the outfits. :dunno

The DX head is out of the question and will not be offered nor will the extra' such as toto and basket as it's unfair on the guys who have Iminime's.:lecture

As noted above the witch would probably be the easiest to do.

She also appears to be the most in demand.

She also has never been done.

She can also be a stand alone figure. Most ppl want all 4 good guys, but that may difficult to produce, time consuming, and cost prohibitive. Some may say I can only afford 2 figures, but it would look off to have say Dorothy and the Lion. The witch can hold her own.

She also trascends the wizard of oz as an iconic villain. She set the bar for a lot bad guys and was the physical embodiment of what we grew up believing what a witch should look like. She and Vader may be the best bad guys ever. People know them outside the movie.

I will work on the portraits of the witch and the flying monkey. If everyone is still interested after that we can move forward with creating a proto. I will start on these after I finish Elf and Hook. I am only doing the sculpt work for those two figures so I should be able to start OZ in May.

Sounds like I need to start hording change. Can't wait. Going to be a shelf stopper for sure.

Her AND a flying monkey seems too good to be true. The Witch outfit seems very feasible... the monkey concerns me. I'd love to have her sidekick monkey, but the body, fur, and that crazy outfit will be very challenging... and consequently expensive for an accessory.

Incidentally, assuming everyone here knows that the Witch's sidekick monkey looks a bit different than the others. Noticeably the hat and how he wears it.

Toner did one but it is 18 inches tall, I agree that it would be quite a challenge for a properly sized monkey, may not see one, but the witch, that is just classic!
