I will work on the portraits of the witch and the flying monkey. If everyone is still interested after that we can move forward with creating a proto. I will start on these after I finish Elf and Hook. I am only doing the sculpt work for those two figures so I should be able to start OZ in May.

I googled this out of curiosity and she looks really great except it's a 18" like you said.

I'm beyond excitement for this one. I have always wanted to collect The Wicked Witch and her flying monkey. Can't wait!!

Hopefully he was able to get started as planned above... but you know this business...

EDIT: I sent him a PM so hopefully he'll respond. He was just on today.

He responded. He said he wants to finish his Elf project before he starts on the Witch (as he mentioned in his post above). I have no idea how long the Elf project will take. But he seems to remain interested.

If I deduce a time-line based on his original post in January that he anticipated he'd be done with Elf in May, and he's still not done, then I'd guess he needs about the same amount of time still -- meaning, another 4 months. So my guess is September start.

Anybody have any thoughts on what body to use for The Witch? Also, thinking of going a different route on the tailor for this project because Toribox is taking about 6 months for a prototype. Any recommendations for a new tailor? I have heard about add blue but do not have their contact or know what projects they have done. Also, do you guys think a real hat and real hair are called for here or sculpted?

You could do this figure on a budget Viper unleashed customs could probably do the outfit as it's simple and cheap so you're looking at $100 probably.

Haute Hero - Never used them before but Chris seems like a decent guy but again you'd probably be looking at $300 + for a simple outfit.

That Haute Hero looks to do nice work. Of course Yunsil would be ideal but the time frame on her is getting exhaustive.

Viper unleashed customs is good in a pinch but they don't always use the best materials.

But then I'm not sure what people are expecting to pay for a Wicked Witch.
