Looks great mate. 15 times what a fu*ker of a job!Ok. I reworked the badge to have more detail. When this small it was hard to notice. After 15 tries, I think I have the scale right. Next I’ll size up the gun. Working in that today.

When it's this small, every mm makes a big difference. I ended up raising the relief on the badge type and art, too; otherwise, it's barely noticeable and will be a bitch to paint. I took actual gun specs for the gun, so hopefully, it'll play nice. I'm experimenting with some nice gun bluing paint techniques. I have never really seen any I liked in the past, so this should be interesting.Looks great mate. 15 times what a fu*ker of a job!
Nope, it's cut in. It is just wet with the resin still. It hadn't been cleaned here yet. , and water filled the hole. But it's cut out. It's a pretty exact match.Just noticed that the 373 on the real badge has the surrounding area cut out. I’m guessing ours will be too small to copy that.
That is awesome!Nope, it's cut in. It is just wet with the resin still. It hadn't been cleaned here yet. , and water filled the hole. But it's cut out. It's a pretty exact match.
Gene Hackman is a big fella which makes the gun look small in the film I thinkOk, so I found time to mess around with the gun, I needed a new resin basin due to a crack which is why I was getting errors.
So the actual gun is kind of small if you go to actual scale, so I added a few sizes slightly bigger, going clockwise from the top left. It is on a Worldbox seamless hand. Please note the trigger guard and trigger are very thin at this scale and easy to break. I could beef them up, but then it looks more like a toy. I only cured and had them out for 2 hours and the trigger snapped. Though you do need 24 hours cure, so it’s not a fair test. Also the seamless arms are pretty stiff in the fingers.
I also don’t love the way the seamless hand grips the gun, it kind of points upward. I can try on a standard hand, which is more flexible and it may sit better. But let’s get the scale down first.
So my questions. What scale do you like? Also, should I thicken the trigger guard and trigger?
Overall the detail is nice. Also the badges are ready to paint.
