Jinx is modifying the sculpt. He could have left it and it would have sold anyway.
A true gentleman to rework this and listen to the feedback.

True pro. Criticism stings at first, but then you realize a fresh set of eyes may see what you don't, because you are so close to your work.

I'm more impressed by your attitude than any sculpt [which are amazing].

A true pro indeed and I applaud the people on this thread as well who have been offering the criticism in a really constructive and respectful way. It may the the first time I've seen something like this all around on the forum.

I can't wait to see what improvements jnix brings, I think you all nailed it with the feedback so with those tweaks I think we will have something of a Grail!

No regrets at all about placing my order sight unseen. I would've gladly taken the original, as it is better than the HT one in areas that are more noticeable visually (hair not conehead, hair color, eyes). The fact this is getting reworked is like a bonus. Might play the lottery tonight!

I can only echo what others have said jinx...total class act. Not sure if this is a hobby or your job for you, but best wishes for your career either way. I'm sure you'll see over the next few days, you've earned quite a few fans. Respect brother.:clap

This reminds me of when everyone "tweaked" the hell out of MJ's Indy, and by the time mine finally arrived, I had no idea what it was going to look like.

All this **** you want to "cut out" are the visual examples that allowed Jnix to SEE what we were all concerned about, and thanks to his professionalism, led to his decision to modify the sculpt which will hopefully allow us to get to the Grial we were all hoping for. Just sayin'.

Jnix is the man. What else is there to say? I've already sent his $1,700 for his next 10 sculpts whatever they may be. I may get one of his mother, but that will be just fine with me :rotfl.

I don't really think we should be criticizing people who are doing their best to try to show off the points we're trying to make. The original pictures are all easily available in post #1. I for one am glad people are taking the time to show what the improvements they're talking about might actually look like.

I just don't see the harm, and I have a lot of appreciation.

Hello guys,

Sorry for being silence for a day. I have read all replies and critiques on this thread and thought much, so took a while to figure things out myself.
Actually, I have much things to talk back to you about the sculpt as I am the only man who has the real sculpt in hand and see, however, I realized that is meaningless in this moment.

So, I have decided to hear your constructive thoughts and modify it! I can not sculpt this 100% perfectly same to Mark Hamill however, I will try to get to more perfection. Here is the things. I am going to resize and modify the the nose and its bridge as this part is mostly off but not from the bottom. and also will change eye painting to match the color and balanced. So it will take a while (not that much though)

Taking Order is postponed and will try not to take too long. I will announce re opening order as soon as I think it`s done. and also I will app painting again on casted modified sculpt. I respectfully ask you to wait until then.

That's a pretty strong remark, to actually scrap it. please show some considerations since this is someone's work we are talking bout here. Whether you like it or not, jynx did the best he could, and whether he wanna fix it or not, that's up to him, just like whether you wanna buy it or not, it's up to you. It's still better than HT's take IMO.

This whole thread has been a wonderful experience; everyone has been positive and respectful, especially when making constructive criticisms. We all seem to have picked up on some of Jnix's great attitude. The fact that he's modifying the sculpt shows how secure he is in his talent, a lesser talent might have come back to us with a different response.

Jnix, yours were the first ever sculptor's hands to pull a great Han likeness out of clay; I'm sure those same hands can find a good Luke likeness!

I've said it before, let me say it again. Working with Jnix is like having access to our own personal JC Hong in terms of sheer talent, and the manner in which he conducts himself is second to none! You hit on it above, Tom. I believe Jnix is able to handle himself and his work the way he does speaks directly to confidence and respect. In short, a delight.

How many artists (and their rampant supporters) would have doubled down and then started hurling insults at the very people who support their craft? I won't name names, but allow me to simply say, the fact that Jnix has nothing to do with these tacts is nothing short of a gift to us all.
