I just set payment for a normal painted. I previously sent payment for a painted hatted and I am number 8 on the list.

But I don't understand why I'm paying a conversion fee when paying in USD and you are receiving USD as GIFT.

Yeah, same thing happened with me too. Sent payment as GIFT, through my bank account, and was charged a conversion fee (for some reason.) Not a huge deal, but I did find it odd as it seemed like a different thing from the "send as goods and services, tack on PayPal's cut" fee that i know how to avoid.
