I received another update from Ric. The first tailor told him that her father had been hospitalized and she has been busy with that but that she still intends to finish the shirts. However, he is getting a sample from another tailor this weekend as he is tired of waiting on the first tailor.

Received this update from Ric today along with this pic:
"Hi Alan, the tailor just sent me this update. The next one could be the finished shirt. i have good hopes that sometime this year this soap opera will be ended. the tailor said the following....

'The things aren’t going better for me, but I have had some time for sewing. It is almost finished, so I will try to give the project a last boost. Here is an update.'

Ric-FLU emailed me some more photos taken under different lighting. Here's what he wrote: "Here are the pics from last test. You can post them on the forum. They are the same 03 heads under different lights. Natural daylight, closed room, with and without flash. The lights really play tricks. In natural light they show a bigger contrast that is not so visible for real.
I honestly think these 03 heads are good enough for the jsx and worldbox at011 bodies. And there other 03 heads that comes close.
So if someone that doesn't care for a very minor difference 03 sets are ready to ship next week.
But there also the worldbox bodies coming soon that are intended to solve this tone difference. So it's up to the buyer get it now or wait a little bit more. I just received an update from Ric by email. He wrote:

"Hi Alan, the tailor finally showed up. She just gave me the price for the fabric left after the shirts were finished. I confirmed i will buy them and close the deal. It's up to her finish this deal and ship to me the shirts and the fabric.

But i'm not holding my breath, sadly we will not see the shirts this year as it seems. Only God knows when she will respond again and ship the stuff.

But i will keep doing my part and respect those who trusted me, gave money to fund this and finish this."

Again, I am just passing on what he told me and asked me to update everyone with.

Ric sent me an email today saying he had finally been able to get the tailor to respond and ship the shirts to him. He attached the below pictures.

He is optimistic that he can finally get this project finished.

Perhaps at this point consider refunding people since this getting a bit out of hand, no updates, zero communication and a lot of deposits were made..

I will email Ric for an update. The last I heard there was some problem with the delivery of the shirts and they got returned to the tailor but the tailor was resending them to him. I'll see if I can get a hold of him.

People, i still don´t know why my access to the forum was not working, even the mods could not explain or help me. But in the fourth try i reseted my account and got back. I will try to be as direct as possible on the updates.
- The shirts were really shipped last year but the carrier dhl or fedex can´t remember, gave me only 1 week to pay some fees to deliver. I tried to reach out to them to pay but they ignored my e-mails and even in the phone number where they told me about the fees. The package returned and i lost the free shipping the tailor gave me.
After this the tailor was busy and only able to ship again around last october. But i had to wait due to many changes in import policies, that now are 90% on everything. So i had to save money for the shipping and taxes too. But the shirts are shipping again in february and this time i convinced the tailor to use a regular carrier.
- Most of the heads worked by hydeous are wrong in skin tone and some with brown hair even though i sent him the bodies. I sent the remaning heads and bodies to Mark Simpson, but he vanished from the internet for almost 2 years and returned not long ago. I already spoke to him again and will commission the new heads also on february.
- Checking the stuff i already have i found out the bags made by Gustavo are cracking ( i will try to add pics later). Didn´t know he used pleather on them. Already spoke to him and he will make new ones with a different and durable material, thank God this happened with this stuff still in my hands.

This project really is taking forever to be completed. but that´s what happens when you work with 6-7 artists from around the world, and some of them cheat you, some deliver a crap product or are not so clear in the deadlines to deliver.
I totally understand the disbelief, but i will finish this and will be this year no matter what costs me.
For the new people interested. Please wait ´til i deliver to the people who are on the list or check with someone who wants to quit on his set.

Thanks for the update Ric. I know it's been one misfortune after another but I have faith that you will get the figures completed. I've been on other projects where the person running them just disappeared but you're still here pledging to complete the project. I'm glad you were able to get back on the forum finally. And I'm glad you caught the cracking bags before they were shipped out. I'm still looking forward to this figure.
