Yunsil didn't start the work on sample/prototype yet. And the project status is on hold.
I don't know what's happening.
Yea it's approaching the Leia dress level of ridiculous time management, imo. Deposits were sent over 14 months ago.

Hi everyone. First of all I apologise for not being very responsive in the last few months on here it was not good form and I feel very bad for not providing more timely updates.

Part of the reason for my lack of communication has been because of happy change to my 1:1 life with the arrival of our baby daughter (although having two kids under two for a time there has been more time consuming than I could ever have imagined!).

I have to hold my hands up about the delays as unfortunately a lot of it comes down to me for being an idiot. Being very green at running projects I wrongly thought that once the project had been booked Yun Sil would be collecting samples and would send pictures to us for approval before beginning work on the prototype. As a result I have been waiting for pictures of the samples to be sent to me and using this time to tinker with various bodies trying to get the perfect one for Grant before I was asked to send it in for fitting. It was not until Hosam told me that Yun Sil's website had listed our project was on hold that I realised my error. I contacted Jong and was told that they would not progress the project further until they had the body, head sculpt and accessories (for the belt).

DoggieDoc to his credit sent the accessories for the clothing fitting to me really quickly once I let him know and they look absolutely fantastic - thanks Andy for being awesome. At the time I had settled on the JX Toys JX-01 but I wasn't happy with the shoulders (as they were too wide). After I dremeled them down they created the perfect silhouette for Grant but they lacked a beyond 90 degree bend at the elbow (which is kind of essential if you want to display him with the flare). I wasn't happy with the body as it needed everyone to do work to it to make it perfect and I did not want you all to have to do that. I went a bit crazy and ordered A LOT of bodies (from lots of different brands) and after trying them all out I am really pleased to have settled on one which ticks all of the boxes, creates perfect Grant silhouette, has double arm bend, fits the head sculpt really well (everything in proportion).

The body is the Worldbox 2017 AT013 'Dad Bod'. I had previously overlooked it because in the past I've not had a very good experiences with this company but wow they have really improved. I've included a picture below of how it looks (with white Henley tee I ordered off ebay just to give an idea - this is not made by Yun Sil) and I am really pleased with the results.

I've sent everything to Yun Sil's team for fitting and I have let them know in advance of the body type (as I suspect that they will have one on hand) so they can move the project forward. I have asked Jong to update the status of the project and confirm once they receive everything.

I am really sorry for the delays everyone and will let you know once I hear further. I also feel like a complete idiot for not realising that the Yun Sil was waiting for me to send everything in for the fitting. We should now be back on track and I will do my best to make sure everything goes quicker and smoother from here (which should not be a huge problem considering I have been the limiting factor!).

not in on this project (which I regret so if someone wants to sell their spot to me let me know)

but the "dad bod" or the equivalent without a ponch is actually the only body that should be used for anything anymore. Period. Trouble is that if you want a necked sculpt you gotta slice off that neck and make a joint. I've done it about a million times.

Thanks for the update bro.
So when will we see the prototype from Yunsil?

Glad to be getting the hat. Finally received my painted heads last week and can't wait to see the hatted version finished.
