Honestly I plan to use the sideshow hilt once I get it I'm planning to put my Luke and Obi one cathodes in the original hilts has anyone done this it looks like they should fit

I believe katkuru has a thread on how to make your own cathode sabers. I was looking into doing it but fortunately I was able to score one of each of the styles he's been offering!
