I always try to take care all of my friend here and this is a very hard situation for me to deal with this case to make all of you satisfactory !

What if I offer new color and new kind of farbic, with modified pattern and better workmenship ( of course .... my work is better than those of 3 years ago) for making the shirt, vest and pants?

That means I am not offering the same outfit but the upgraded version ( something like Rick's shrieff's uniform with new pattern, new farbic and better magnet closure)

Pls ntd that the price has been much higher than before, the new buyers has never take any advantages from the original Morpheus collectors! They just pay more for the better version.

(I am not complaing anyone.. I just wonder...if my suggestion is not acceptable, I wonder if it is appropiate to start my next Indy project Raider version... I just offer the almost the same outfit with better color and it is more accurate in style)

And the very last important point is : There are just only few people show their interest at this moment.. XDDDD

It's completely up to you Kato your the man who is doing all the producing but I say go ahead with this project (providing you get the numbers you need for interest). This is not the same as the full figure done 2-3 years ago and like you say this one will actually be better as you continue to progress as a tailor.

If this outfit is going to be better why on earth would anybody want to stop its production? If everybody had that attitude all we'd have to collect is 12 inch hasbro dolls as the hobby would not move forward.

In this case (as its an outfit and not a full figure offering) I think its should be ignore the complaints of the few in order to satisfy the wants of the many...

Hopefully QueroMarvel can get Sunhoc to do Morpheus' sculpt and sunglasses as well ray: and maybe we can get John from IDM Customs involved by doing his weapons if we ask him.

I see no reason why this project shouldn't happen IMO.

For the record the only thing I said to kato was that it was he should consider those who paid for the original set which was a limited edition. It's not nearly the same thing as the sheriff costume which was never "limited".

Secondly I'm not hiding anything. I came in here and vicalized my displeasure honestly. I don't control kato.

Thirdly I'm disappointed that all of you want to create backlash and spit venom at me for tryin to protect an investment. True colors are showing and now I know who to steer clear off.

Lastly, I'm certain that I was not the only one who said something. Just the only naive enough to mention it in here.

In the end what has all this gotten me?! Really? You guys are getting a better version of what I paid for. Except there's the problem of interest numbers.

Thing is, kato's SoP and Rainman's differ. Albeit they are both high end customs. Kato never mentioned his stuffs were limited numbered edition.

But, nevertheless I know where you are coming from, Wake. That's why I'm a bit selective with customs stuffs now, as there's just too many option nowadays, and buying these as 'investments' are just bad move IMO. If you wanna invest, I think land or gold is a much better option.

Personally I think considering Quero/Kato had no intention of 'reissuing' the whole figure and instead are only potentially doing another run of the outfit I think it's very similar to the situation with the Grimes Sheriff Gear. The full figures are numbered Kato's clothing was and still is not. I can completely understand (as I stated in my initial response) your point of view but I think it's a little harsh to whisper in Kato's ear your displeasure considering what you have purchased and what is happening here are 2 very different things. What you have is the full set with all the bells and whistles what we have here is the outfit alone, no sculpt, no accessories, no box, no body and no COA. I just don't view them as the same thing, to me what you have is far more valuable but maybe that's just me...

I don't buy figures as investments. I buy them because I love collecting them. But do I want them to retain the value I paid for when I purchased them? Honestly that's part of the lure of collecting custom 1/6.

But then again, similar problem happened a few months ago with Denny Kim / Iminime regarding the Comm Gordon outfit that he was gonna offer with better tailoring and material than the full set Gordon. So l can totally see what Wake is coming from, since there was a few regular members that wasn't too pleased with that decision, and at the end, Denny chooses not to do it.

But iminime was issuing their items with certificate and numbered which is similar to Rainman's. Whilst Kato has always differ from them.

No one said a peep about a reissue of the Grimes outfit. NOT ONE WORD.

This wouldn't be the same as the first issue of the full figure. Sean, Sunohc, Kato, Greggo, Evilface, Kuato, & Whitekite all pitched in on the original. As Kato just stated the outfit at $700 is way more than the original owners paid for that if you were to itemize or prorate it. The full set was $750 ($820 with Kato's black shirt upgrade). At this point we'd all be going over $1000 to get this built up exactly (or as close to) the original work up.

We shouldn't have to suffer for someone's buyer’s remorse and selfishness. Most of us have got burned as collectors by V2 that we never saw coming after we dropped high secondary market $$$. PART OF THE GAME.

Your investment is a deal you made on your own. I get protecting it but the price you paid was at an extra premium :wink1: and that is your own choice. Just because you paid $1800 doesn’t mean that was the new standard of its price point.

And you had said that those people were pissed by me just because I co operated with Hottoys for Joker 2.0
