Mine is getting there and i'm very happy so far :)

I didn't bother with the netting or even trimming the hair in the end and just went with puffy trousers that i made.

That is fantastic Cbob!!! :rock :rock :rock

Sorry to everyone for not getting pictures posted of the supplies I used; yesterday was more hectic than I planned :lol I'll do it today over lunch :duff

BTW Cbob... the transition between the fur and painted hoofs looks very good. It's not distracting at all like I thought it might be :rock

Yeah i quite like it :)

I do however want to know what you used for your shoulder pads as they look the dogs danglies and mine are kinda ****.

Re: legend (lord darkness) first round shipped- 2nd round fourming now

I'm glad my work reminds you of dog testicles, I really am :lol On yours I think it will be very easy just to add new strings to what you already have and you'll be golden. It's fiddly work, but not bad.

I'll get on it over lunch... I meant to at least get a pic before work, but I was on solo duty getting the kiddo ready and had no time to spare :lol

BTW, what's the measurements and shape on your cape? I definitely need to make mine longer between the shoulder and arms.

Re: legend (lord darkness) first round shipped- 2nd round fourming now

Well close up my shoulders look **** so i just wondered what all those bits on yours are.

Measurements are: height roughly 15" and width about 12"

Its just a rectangle with an arched top. At the top i trimmed it as an arch so when i sewed on the wrist attachments for the cloak it flows and sits better under the arms if that makes sense.

I think I follow... so about this shape:

Re: legend (lord darkness) first round shipped- 2nd round fourming now

Nps and if you have any idea of the name of that spikey looking material you used for your shoulder pads let me know :)

Re: legend (lord darkness) first round shipped- 2nd round fourming now

Here it is... guess it's called decorative trim and came in a spool; it was in a large display of different kinds of trim and ribbon. The spikey stuff actually has small beads sewn into it (but they also fall off super easy) and I bought two kinds all black and black string with colored beads. For the top of the shoulder pad I just put a layer of glue, sprialed in the decorative trim and then stuck some of the loose rhinestones into the gaps.

The stuff across the top was cut off of a bolt of the same material... didn't see a name, but I assume it's just a decorative fringe. I cut off the strings at the base and used the midpoint to sew it to the bottom of the shoulder pieces.

And here's a shot of the stuff on my KP02 body... like I said the dye did not take well. The joints are well dyed though; so once I paint it should all look fine, but now it's pretty sad looking :lol

Paid in full:)
Now I see what cb's done on his I'm itching to get started.

Even done some rummaging in a charity/thirft store today and come up with some cool beads and material(an old womans black and gold sparkly skirt) to make his cape.lol
Might not be screen acurate but it will be unique that is for sure.

If anybody has any refence pics or links for materials used that would be helpfull.
Gunna buy the dvd only have it on vhs at the moment.

Man, that sculpt is even better than I first thought, seeing it painted up, it's spot on:)
