Re: Pulp Fiction Briefcase

Not yet. I'm still working out the prototype. Each version will probably be under $100 if that helps.

I have scrapped my first attempt and am now going back to the start. I had some good successes on the first go but to many trouble areas to use it for the final piece.

Re: Pulp Fiction Briefcase

I have been kicking around offering a DeluXe version. Maybe offer like 3-5 only. It would be completely hand made using leather with nothing being cast. It would be expensive like $300-400 area. I wont know if its possible till this after noon when my leather comes in. May make one just for me for the hell of it. Also all the hardware would be polished brash with photo etched parts.

Re: Pulp Fiction Briefcase

I would really like to see that! I am just happy with the non lit myself :)

Re: Pulp Fiction Briefcase

Robbie you can sign me up for the real leather DX version if your making a list for it :D

If you don't end up doing it I'm still down for the regular lit version :)

Re: Pulp Fiction Briefcase

The leather texture looks amazing Robbie! Can't wait to see it done which will probably be soon judging from how fast you got this far

Re: Pulp Fiction Briefcase

So I scrapped the first go and started anew today. Which was a good thing because I bought and watched the BlueRay today and saw that not only was my original not working technically, I was also missing some details.

So here is the undated version in process. I including the "sewn" edging at the corners. Also left room for flat cover that hides the hinges. I will get the handle and latch base plates attached tomorrow and then I should be ready for the mold.
