Modding changes it into something different. We can argue how different is different enough from the original to be considered something new, but we all agree it has been modified.

A straight recast is different. Babygq is only looking for quick cash off of someone else's work. He is a parasite and creates nothing new.

I know I'm late on the recast cast talk; I don't want to rehash to whole s__t but I definitely wanted to drop my opinion. Entropy took the words right out of my mouth and these are my thought exactly.

If the mass producing companies that hold the licenses can't get it right, then by all means one of the many talented mofo's here should improve on their work. There is zero wrong in that.

Straight recasting Rainman, Beto, Iminime, Trev or any other underground custom artist's work is EXTREMELY and clearly different than improving on things that HT, EB, Medi, etc. fell short on. The person making those improvements is obviously talented enough to do it where as it takes no talent to straight up recast. That just takes a thief.




Anyway, got my Monkey Man head. SICK!!! I was always captivated by this sculpt and I'm so pumped that I finally got a chance to own one.

Aeon's paint is so lifelike it's incredible. I do prefer RM's original coloring which was more grey tones and Aeon's is more earth tones. His is more screen accurate to Caesar’s coloring but I'm still nuts about this piece! (she didn't paint the teeth which I'm going to mention to him )

- The sculpt was Rainman, but I used the custom Alex bowler
- The custom Alex suit put together by Charles H on this board

Got my Butcher head painted masterfully by Aeon. It's a Velvet Morning Bill with robbiethepainter's wonderful hat and shoes:

(I'm still changing a few more small things like changing the buttons on the vest, etc.)

That does look great. The Velvet morning outfit might *gasp* look more screen accurate than Rainman's! Or, it could be Commtech's great futzing and photography.

I actually was thinking the same thing looks very screen accurate to me .
