I FINALLY realized that at the end of the day most guys just like bashed toys and wanna save money. These guys aren't collecting with a passion. They're collecting to have toys and its evolved into a social theme.

So the countless hours I put into my figures modding them, and modding them, and sometimes modding them again, is not "passion"? :monkey2

So I "bashed" this figure and I put a ton of passion into it from the painting to the clay i sculpted on his arms,chest, & legs to the clothes i shredded and weathered by my own hands. So based on what your saying is that i should sit and wait til Lee makes this figure as a DX version and only then i should get it? Dude, I know you got a nice collection and i'm happy for you. If you can get it, go for it, but who is anyone to tell any one who should own what? So I guess guys like Jacob ,Xenoviper,Caine etc.. don't bash and re-do figures. I had them all wrong. It sure looked like they were doing that to me.
Maybe Rob shouldn't sell head sculpts then or Yunsil shouldn't do just outfits. Someone might bash it to a body and then where would you be?? Common man. They have been bashing toys since the 60's Gi Joe's. Mr. R. I'm a fan of your collection and all but you are inviting people to criticize you too easily.

But I have more fun making my own figures. Sure I can't make my own clothes, but I enjoy bashing things together. To me that's more fun that just buying something that's already done. You have no story behind it.

If we didn't like it, why would we throw upwards of 1.5k at it? Mother looks fantastic, there's no denying that. But the second half of the set is asking for a lot of cash for something that hasn't nailed it.

I'm with Short Round, if your gonna talk crap on people and point out specs. Don't get mad when it comes back at you. I understand if you hate all the cheap knockoff companies making crap versions of stuff i totally agree. I even understand not liking people who only buy and then as soon as they get it, they put it up on ebay for a profit. I already see the Anton outfit and head up and we all just barely got it.
