i think both 'there will be blood' and 'the master' are classic works. PT Anderson is the best out there from the american stable currently working. and i think the influence of those two films will be felt in years to come.

I love the movie, but I'm just not sure I would call it, or anything from the 2000s, a classic just yet. Maybe the closest thing to that would be Batman Begins, because I'm fairly certain it was a real game changer in terms of dramatic comic book movies.

i'd rather a 'pines' luke glanton than an 'only god forgives' gosling. i love refn and i was really looking forward to that film but i actually couldnt make it through it. stopped watching about 20/30 minutes in. and i think 'pines' is a pretty epic tale.

Let's take a poll. It's the best way to see how interested people are in another Bill figure as opposed to somthing new and original being made.

Bill and Daniel Day Lewis should be a Retired part of the Catalog already.

The Shinning
Shogun Assassin
Falling Down
Dracula
Labyrinth
Coming to America
Cheech and Chong
The Warriors
Spaceballs
Scarface
Rocky
The Elephant Man
Legend
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Somthing New!!!

Out of all the characters on your list Turbo I think The Elephant Man would be the character that would be the most visually interesting to see on the shelf.

Pines was good not great.
. and not a very visually appealing choice.

Too plain...a film that won't be remembered in 5 years

Although I have no interest in buying it, I think Shogun Assassin would be a good choice. It is a different direction than RM has been taking and would be a very interesting figure to see.

I think Anderson is a really good filmmaker. . .I also think he's extremely overrated :horror

The Coens and Cronenberg are the best thing going today.

Wouldn't sell, though.

yeah no way john merrick would sell out turbo.

and pines deserves a little more cred than youre giving it rdeezy. the coens are great and im a huge cronenberg fan--though his last two left me wanting more. and anderson is definitely not overrated. in any way. he's the contemporary altman--to do that referencing other talent when describing someone thing which i dont like, but i did it.

Though I'm not in the business of rallying people up for anything. . .

The early vote isn't looking good :lol

Does William Cutting also count as a Teddy Daniels Vote? :rotfl

You'll be first in line Sam, but judging by your taste you'll probably want this version.
