Yeah, it's really hard for Rainman to choose a character when there are like only 30 movies ever made to pick from...:rotfl

as it has been said, Yunsil isn't RM's tailor - RM contracts her to make the clothing like anybody can as SHE RUNS A BUSINESS making dolls clothing.....

And Turbo, insulting someone doesn't make you win an argument. It just makes you look like you actually don't know what you are talking about. And most of us don't need to have the last word either...:lol

And I wouldn't be talking about money either... You couldn't even refund $70 to those on your Yunsil made t shirt list in a timely manner. Most had to ask several times over months...

Oh, and Leon asks his wife's 'permission' because it is called respect. Something you clearly know nothing about.

But I do know what I'm talking about..... That's why you guys care so much about what I have to say :lol I tend to ruffle your little feathers because I have a different point of view. But you want to gang up and make it personal, It doesn't bother me in the least. Ill take all of y'all on. I'll debate you into submission.

For example when I say you have never sculpted or painted a sculpt for sale on this forum a day in your life but yet you want to try and sell a run of Ron Burgundy figures and make them limited all the while using Rainmans tailor am I lying about that?


Then when I go and post a pic of Ron Burgundy in THIS THREAD, I'm instantly trolled by you and likes with "ohhh that's already being done".

Thanks but I'm not interested in you little project, I'm interested in Rainman Artworks.

Honestly Stevey, that wording makes it sound like she works for him in the same capacity that Iris works for Iminime, and that's not the case. Tree Design is a company that makes doll and 1/6 outfits for plenty others aside from Rainman; she's not exclusive to him in any way. Not only is she one of the best in the business, but her and Rainman come from a time where the landscape of this hobby was very different.There were much less people offering these kinds of things so naturally Yunsil was RM's go-to girl. But calling her his go-to girl is a much better way to word their relationship as opposed to "his tailor". She was always open to the public. Scott was just the first to figure that out.

Mike, what I was meaning to say is that Rainman may use Yunsil exclusively, but that doesn't mean that she is exclusive to him. She is free to take on work from anyone she chooses. My comment of "his tailor" was in refenence to TO's post.

So much hostility, its hard understand it. Then I realize how much coin dudes drop on 'exclusive' releases and naturally want to keep them special and unique. A similar reaction/situation happened when Iris released her Bill outfit.

I'll be the first to say I can't afford aftermarket fullsets and DXs at 2-3 grand, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the artwork, time, patience put into these figures. I for one do not agree with Yunsil offering the same clothing set from a previous release. However she runs her own business, it doesn't seem to bother Lee much, but he's already sold and done with his work on a figure. Can you imagine if someone commissioned Yunsil to do a Torrance outfit with a different sculpt right now?

I'm very interested to see what value these Rainman figures have in 5 years.

anyone who is friends with turbo and also other folks who are proud to be a member of this forum - is turbo the kind of collector we all want to identify ourselves with! Does one become cool by sitting behind a computer / phone and trying to make personal comments on someone's family? I am sure many members here have a family, many will have one some day! Is this the kind of filth anyone would want to associate with?

We all have made mistakes and all have lost our cool and said things we regret however you can be patient with stupidity but any one who is proud of being "stupid" what do you do about them?

Personally I think if rainman or yunsil were left in a room with him they would not only just ask him to get out of the room but probably wonder whose shelves their art (which they make with so much care) is actually ending up on!

I just feel pity for him!

Leon, I am going to say this to you and I hope you can accept my opinion on it. Your collection is amatuer at best compared to mine, I know it sounds stuck up but I only say that to give you a little more perspective. I've been collecting High End figures since 1994 with Arnie Kim and my collection reflects that. I'm very serious about the hobby maintaining some ethics and integrity within the collecting community. You do nothing to help maintain those standards. Your only interested in getting things cheaply. I can tell that from your constant complaints about prices for customs. You don't even help to support the Side Show Freaks forum by becoming a premium member. How can any one possibly take what you have to say seriously? Take a look at my feedback. I've done business with some of the best people on this forum. Everybody knows who I am whether they agree with me or not

I see that your easily offended which is probably why you keep saying that I don't have a family or children or that I rob grocery stores to get my collection and stupid things like that. This has been the stupidly that comes out of your mouth. How would you even know whether I have children or not :lol you don't know me guy. All you know is what I comment on and you follow what I say obsessively. You keep mentioning somthing about 5K, what does that mean exactly?

You shouldn't pity me man, because your insignificant to me. I don't care about your personal opinions with regard to me. The only thing that matters is the figures and the figure talk.

You need to stop being mad at people because they have a better collection than you or spend more money on their figures. Work on your Rainman collection a little bit more and then maybe I'll take what you have to say about any of these figures seriously.....and go and support the SSF thread by becoming a premium member man, it's only 25 bucks or do you need permission for that too?
