Now that this project is nearing completion, I thought it only right to pop on here and say a quick hello and thanks to everyone who has purchased one of my cane 'kits'. I have been truely overwhelmed by the interest in this piece, I honestly didn't expect to be making this many. Whilst I'm very happy that it has been so sucessful, I'll be honest; I'll be glad to see the back of them!
With regards to all those who are still outstanding, Falconer (who is handling the admin for me as I don't frequent this forum much) would have PM'd you all by now asking for an email address so I can send you a payment request. Once you have provided that information to him, keep an eye out from an email from me steve(at)onesixthscale.co.uk.
As I will most likely now require more materials to complete the final batch, and given that a few people have already cancelled, I'm reluctant to order more in until I have a confirmed payment from the remaining interested parties. Therefore if you are no longer interested in a cane, please let us know now; there will be no hard feelings - I prefer that than I waste time and effort making something no longer required.
As I would really like to get on with other projects, I'm going to draw a dead-line for those who have not yet replied to Falconers PM or returned my payment request of Friday 30th September.
Any one who has not made contact by this time, I am afraid the project will be closed and I will not be able to fulfil your request.
Again, thank you so much for your support and interest in this little project. I've got to know the man behind the post office counter very well over the past few weeks
