Robocop - Melting Emil

I'm gauging interest in a melting Emil kit. This would include a resin head, hands, latex arms and torso coverings. The latex will slip over the body like a shirt, mostly covering the areas you see below.

A raw kit will likely run around one fifty shipped but will include everything mentioned above. Once I have between five to ten signatures I'll order supplies and get to work on the body. You can currently see the build thread here or check out this video of the head sculpt:

This is definitely for the hardcore Robocop fans out there. Sound off if you're interested in a run.

lol The thought had crossed my mind. Whatever the outcome I still plan to make a few kits. It would just be easier on my wallet if I knew a few more had interest. That may happen as I get further along in the process though.

Looks cool, Riggs! Emil's not on my want list, but I bet there's a few guys in the RoboCop threads in the Aliens & Robots section that would like one. I read those threads pretty regularly and don't recall seeing your video there, so maybe you should mention it. Regardless, nice work! Neat to see the process of you sculpting and putting together your custom in sort-of real time.

it's okay... just don't spam the threads, but a friendly... "hey, check out the interest thread" is not usually a problem.

Here's a look at a painted head. This is a cast straight from the mold with no seaming or filling. It's also my very first paint work in this scale. So I'm not entirely happy with it or my pics. They don't quiet show the underlying freckling etc.

Hi, I have a friend who wants an Emil sculpt so I sent him the link for this as he might well want one those as well, as do I possibly. im fairly new here myself and have had a few dealings on here so far.

So for now its just names added out of interest, then once filled you start as you say, any idea of prices yet at all.

No problem. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. A set including the head, hands, and the latex upper body will likely run around 160 unpainted. The figures in the works at the moment and the list is really only to gauge who might want one.
