Re: 1/6 Randall Patrick McMurphy: H&C ALL PAID, NO SPOTS OPEN

It's going to be a velcro close on the shirt? That's fine, but I've always like the magnet approach that Yunsil used (up until recently before she started doing these god-awful little hook things) because it didn't add any bulk in front and looked like a buttoned shirt.

Actually Geewhiz contacted me about that very thing. They went with a few hidden snaps,
because Velcro doesn't look or function as nice. I also asked them about the magnets.

Re: 1/6 Randall Patrick McMurphy: H&C ALL PAID, NO SPOTS OPEN

Got the first look at the outfit today.

Every thing looks really nice except for the pocket and collar size on the leather jacket.
Which they're working on to correct.
The pockets are too big and to high on the jacket.
and the collar looks great from the front, but too wide on the side and back.

I really like the jeans, chambray shirt and green t-shirt.
They did make the jeans a little baggy so we can tuck in everything
and put in a slight fat suit and thigh padding to look more like Jack.

I did not have them weather the jacket or outfit because it was more money.
But I will be doing that once I get the outfits in hand and will
show how it looks. That way if someone would like that look, I will offer my
services for free,if you want it.

Thanks
Ike

Two questions. On the blue shirt, it looks like the pocket on the left side is much higher than the one on the left. Also, should the back pocket stitching on the pants sit higher and not so low on the pocket?

Re: 1/6 Randall Patrick McMurphy: H&C ALL PAID, NO SPOTS OPEN

Also, the pockets on the jacket are off height wise. One side sits higher. I know they will be adjusted smaller, but their attention to symmetry is a little concerning.

Looks nice! My one thing with GeeWhiz is that the pants always seem to be tailored to those super tiny waists on some of the muscle bodies. It looks "pinched" at the waist.

This should be done to a TTM-18 - something with a fairly thin, even torso.

Actually, the symmetry issues you see are more how the pictures were shot and the angle of the item.
I've seen close-up pictures of the pockets, and the pockets are not off at all except for what I have mentioned.
If the blue shirt is closed properly and the camera is straight on, you don't see any difference in pocket height.

Also the height of the pocket stitching is based off of the actual 1966 501 picture I sent them.

I think the height is correct, but maybe the curve in the stitching is not as pronounced and the red tag is
slightly to big.

As mentioned before, the whole outfit is tailored for the TTM-18.
With a little room in the jeans for some thigh padding to make
it more realistic to Jack.

The additional jeans run is cancelled?

I am still in for the Jeans also!

No one ever paid for the extra Jeans. I had the list up(4 people) and posted several notices
when payments were due. Didn't even get one response and waited for 3 weeks.
So I deleted the list.

I can check with Geewhiz again and let you know, best I can do.

Marlindesign, I PM you on the other item.

Thanks

Ike

Ike, thanks for the clarification on the pockets and the back pockets. I agree with you on the curve of the stitching.

Re: 1/6 Randall Patrick McMurphy: H&C ALL PAID, NO SPOTS OPEN

All the original people that were interested in just Jeans(I think it was 4),
post here if you're for sure still wanting them and are ready to pay in the next 24 hours.

If I remember correctly: It's $122($120+2 shipping cost extra) + 4% for paypal fee's. or pay it via friends and family.

It's not for sure, but I sent PM asking and I'm waiting on a response from Geewhiz.

I'll take a Jean please

All right, Geewhiz agreed to still do the extra jeans.

I'll let you know final details in the next 24 hours.

Re: 1/6 Randall Patrick McMurphy: H&C ALL PAID, NO SPOTS OPEN

PM all the jean only people.

All payments must be in by 12-17-16.

Thanks

Re: 1/6 Randall Patrick McMurphy: H&C ALL PAID, NO SPOTS OPEN

Hey Ike, there are no more unpainted sculpts available, right?

Caine is working on the second run now. I didn't get any more interest, so I closed the list.
But the heads have not shipped yet, so I can ask if he can add one more.

I would need payment right away though.

*** UPDATE ***

He can add another casting.
If it's for you, go ahead and make another payment.
Info's on the first post if you need it.
