Yep, it's definitely the Part III mask with the chevron modded to look like Part IV. Beto mentioned a long time ago that the actual Part IV mask will be a new sculpt and not simply another run of Mark III BD masks (due to how much Jason's head sculpt differs between both versions).

That is awesome WOW Beto never cuts corners and always goes above and beyond on his figures, simply unreal

Those are freaking awesome. Can see why everyone wants a pair of syringe hands for their Freddys. I'd be surprised if it doesn't happen as an accessory pack.

I want to see Beto make this though! :clap With CHM expertise in lighting, maybe make the t.v and arms in vinyl. Something really unique, fresh and original. Very much like the zombie barrel, in a league of it's own.

If Beto decides not to include the Machete with the Part 4 Jason then I would be willing to pay a little extra to include one. I know Jason didn't actually use a Machete in Final Chapter but I just can't have a Jason figure of this quality without one of Beto's amazing Machete's .

The syringe hands for me hands down is the best display option for a Part 3 Freddy. Some dioders lighting up the fluid.... yeah. Sold! :rock Beto, make it happen! Give us the option for an add on!

Are you sure the mask on the first page is from part 3? It looks like part 4 to me. The chevron at the top of the mask is half missing like in the 4th movie. Wasnt the top chevron in part 3 attached for the whole movie? It might just be a prototype or something

The other guys beat me to it but yes, I meant that it was the PT.3 BD mask that we received that was tweaked to be a PT. 4 teaser; I just didn't get into the full explanation with Snake because I was giving him short & sweet info that it wasn't a WIP

I'm surprised to hear that the syringe hands aren't included with Freddy and the BD sculpt & machete aren't included with Jason and they may be extra. At Jason 3D's price point we got a ton of stuff included and Chainsaw Hero has a nice sized spread as well. At these price points I thought there would be a comparable accessory/sculpts to price ratio. If these figs don't come with those iconic essentials to these versions, then what could they possibly come with?

And these are also $310-$430 more than his original pt. 1 Freddy & pt. 2 set A Freddy and 78' Myers (all fairly simple sets), and $160-$280 more than pt. 2 set B Freddy (2 sculpts [one with squishy brain insert] and 2 gloved hands). I know that Jason 3D & Ash are $300-$400 more than these 2 offerings, but those include an accessory spread and a complexity of both outfit and accessories that sounds like it's FAR outweighing this combo. The two most iconic and meaningful things that make each of these versions what they are can’t be fit into this price point? I’m NEVER one to b__tch about price but this just doesn’t equate with past and recent releases

I'm glad this point was raised and am kinda happy that it came from you.

This is the same issue I was talking about when you raised the SDX argument for Raoul Duke (though the project is no where near fruition). A lot of times, it's us who tend to assume that an artist cannot include something at a lower price point (Which btw is the regular $800 ceiling) or that costs have to hit the ceiling to get a figure with a decent amount of accessories figure. In reality the artist doesn't feel that way, its just us pushing him to charge more which doesn't make sense. I'm not sure if you would agree with me, but think about it.

I do know what you mean but in this instance as well as the Duke instance, my logic comes from comparing apples to apples within the history of an artist's catalogue. It's very clear what Rainman wants to include for $820. That's not the structure that we set, that's the structure that he set. So if we want him to go way above and beyond what he is willing to do at a certain price, should we expect him to squeeze it all in for the his standard retail price? He's not going to give us an offering with double the usual amount of accessories for the standard price so should we offer him what's fair to make the character complete and definitive or should we be happy with a skimped out version of a character?

Like I said I never b__tch about price... when it makes sense. I'm more than happy with RM's DX Bickle because at $1400 you got a s__t load of stuff so it's more than justified. I'm nuts about Beto's Jason 3D for the same reason. For $1265 you got 3 sculpts, 3 neck adapters, 3 masks, 4 killer accessories on a modded body with a fat suit! I'd spend another $1400 or $1265 on comparable sets any day of the week but respectively when I hear a set is almost $900 and possibly barebones, well.... :dunno

I asked Beto how many head sculpts we would be getting for each figure and he thinks only 1 for each which tells me he must be including some nice accessories but we will just have to wait and find out what he decides. I know whatever he decides on will be amazing I am sure
