Sorry for the wait guys, the project is very much alive! I'll share the final Spaulding sculpt shortly, I promise.

I sometimes have a bad habit of starting new portraits before I finish old ones :monkey3

"It's dead, Jim"

Damnit thainer, I'm a sculptor not a magician!

In all seriousness I'm working his skin texture at the moment :)

The Devil's Rejects is one of my favorite movies, the only reason why it's taking so long is because I'm trying to juggle multiple projects at the same time. It helps me regain objectivity and put out better sculpts. I prefer it that way.

I'm glad u got the joke. Not trying to stir up trouble. I was just sad when this project died the first time. Otis and Spalding are two of my all time favorite movie characters. I am waiting semi patiently to bring these 2 bad boys to my house. So, Im glad yuou are still working away at them.

I made a brand new Spaulding since my last post, there was something off with the last one so I re-sculpted his face using older reference pictures and then added the years and beard. Looks way more like Sid now. I'll share some wips shortly.

Otis needs more refinement but he's getting there. It won't take as long as Spaulding :monkey3

I started roughing out Baby and I'm waiting for an appropriate body to make sure she's still in scale.

Seb sent me this picture a while back and I agree that these represent best the characters in the movie. I had Baby and Spaulding laughing at first but I'll reserve those expressions for House of a 1000 Corpses. Otis will probably end up looking angry in both versions :lol

Sorry for the wait guys, here's my latest TDR Spaulding!

Please keep in mind that it's not finished and I'm still tweaking the likeness a bit. I should start the details soon.
