Re: THEY LIVE ALIEN headsculpt - by CAINE (WIP pg. 4)

Back in the day when Mr. Barlow offered his I think the cop was another popular option and there are quite a few police uniforms.

Although I think I'll just go with a suit for this one, I have only one or two "guy in a suit" figures so this would add a fun bit of variety. I like the first blue one you pictured, but would probably want a different tie as it looks a bi too modern.

Anyone have good color images of what the heads should look like paint wise? B&W would probably be "cooler" but I prefer full color figures :lol

I'm also going to grab this mask sculpted by Russ Lukich over at Trick or Treat Studios. It will look great on display with the figure and dvd/blu ray.

In case you didn't know it, Russ is the Mr. Barlow I was referring too... at least that is is screen name here.

And thanks for those pics, they'll be great reference for painting.

That's awesome, I missed out on the Barlow sculpt and am very happy Caine is taking it on.

Colors on the mask do look good, I'm not a painter myself but it's the ones I would go with.

Looking forward to seeing your paint up, are you going full color or B&W?
I would love to buy 2 heads...one for color, the other for b&w, but for now I ordered one.

I'm going to go full color... if I had the display space I'd love to to a B&W as well, but I just love how garish these guys look in full color :lol

I'm really leaning toward a black and gray color scheme, as that's how they are seen most of the movie.
I'm going for the podium alien as seen here.

Podium alien for the win. That's the alien this sculpt is, so only it makes sense to me. The HT Bruce Wayne suit is what I have my eyes on. Near perfect style and has the vest. Not to mention it will be good quality. May just sell off the BW sculpt and pop this on him. Instant figure, lol.

Yes, podium alien all the way. Here's a link for the Putin podium at Toy Anxiety...they have 2 left, I just bought one.

I like the Idea of using the new Wayne suit for this, for now I'm going to use the Pop Toys suit I picked up,(great quality) that should work out.
If not I got a few other Ideas.

Any chance at all a bald one can be made?
Would love to add some wigs and make female versions too.
Just so many wig options that can be added to a bald version out there nowadays.

I was planning on making one a woman as well. Any idea where to find 1/6 scale wigs?

Barbie Dolls are 1/6. Just type in Barbie Wigs on Ebay or go into Toys R Us. I've seen Barbie Accessories packs that were nothing but a variety of wigs. They make Ken Wigs too which is why there are so many options with a Bald Version of this. You can also type in 1/6 Wigs on Ebay and Hundreds of options will come up.
